Huh, a three-letter word that succinctly sums up my thought process on this project.
What am I going to do and in what order? My mind already races well ahead of the starting point and into the land of “Oh it would be so very wonderful to have teak decks instead of carpet.”, “What electronics am I going to want to put into this boat?”, or “If I stare at it long enough will it turn into a gigantic gold statue?” (I may be not entirely sane, but I digress)
But seriously, where do I even start on this thing? Do I pull the motor first? or strip the hull? Can I pull the motor? How would I do that since I don’t have a gantry or a forklift. Where will the motor go when I pull it? Should I build a cradle for it out of two by fours or go find some harbor freight thingy? I’m so bloody confused.
To cut through the confusion I’ve put up a Tasks page where I can throw task list items. It’s a page, not a post, so it’ll be easier for me to find. I’ve also thrown up a Costs log so I can keep track of how much this whole thing-a-ma-thing is costing me.
There’s also a Resources page where I’ll throw in things like resources I find pertaining what I’m doing. Links to other pages, links to the stuff I buy, links to stuff. Notes, and other random crap I don’t have a specific page for.
So, still a disorganized “HUH”?!
