Top of the Boat

This is the project page of an insanely over-stressed man and his project boat. Here you’ll find things such as how much money I’m spending on this thing, notes on what I’m doing, a basic attempt at a project plan, and last but not least a running update on what’s going on.

I make no promises as to an update schedule, quality of the website, or any other thing that would make this a serious attempt at being a presence on the internet. Take it for what it is. A place where you can watch a man lose his mind trying to not lose his mind.

Right? Right! Good. Remember folks, if you’re going to screw up do it with confidence.

Ah, the midlife crisis.

After a decade and a half of not owning a boat for a number of reasons such as cost, time, children, family, time, the inability to choose a particular model, time, and the fact that I don’t have time (are we seeing a pattern here?); an opportunity to purchase a project boat recently came up.

    Had the frabjous experience of going to the Florida DMV, Beacon of order and efficiency, masters of simplicity, and filled with all around delightful people. The Mission? Get the boat titled and registered, get the trailer titled and registered as well. The Outcome? Boats titled and registered (for two years).   1. Just remember one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made taking things apart it’s not putting the small parts in bags and labeling them B be diligent on this or you’ll never get it back together
