Things I’m Considering Purchasing
I’m not entirely sure what I’ll need to purchase for the restoration of this boat, this is my list of things I think I’ll need. I’ll probably make individual posts about these things as they become more seriously considered. Gathering all this information will also help with budgeting overall, because right now in my tiny little brain, because I haven’t seen cost, then there must be NO cost… right? Right.

ItemDescriptionCost
Full Face RespiratorFor when dealing with fiberglass, want full face vs. the half face ones I have now. Less exposed skin for the itchies$110.00
Tyvek Style SuitsIsolate myself from fiberglass when grinding (Pack of 25)$205.50
Cooling VestBecause fiberglass work will be outside in Florida, exactly 25 meters from the gates of hell itself, right next to their sewer. In a sealed Tyvek suit I’ll probably drown in sweat before I walk two feet without one of these$200.00
Bosch 6″ EVS Turbo Sander GET75-6NSander with better dust extraction than the ones I already own, which will be a big deal when working with fiberglass. Sawdust is one thing. Glass dust… want the best dust extraction I can get.$299.00
Fine Line TapeFor when I paint, fine line tape for crisper lines or thin lines (Cause I aint doing hand pinstriping. Tape it off, paint, done)$10.00
TotalStripTotalBoat TotalStrip. There is a paint job on the boat. Quicker and easier to strip than to sand79.99
